This three day course is endorsed by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) and is run by Quality Leisure Management Ltd.
Assessed by examination, for successful candidates, the course leads to the awarding of a Certificate in Health and Safety Management in Leisure and Culture Facilities.
The course is suitable for staff working as a Duty Officer, Manager or Assistant Manager or for staff who may be expected to cover these roles on an occasional basis.
Health & safety management systems, health & safety legislation, risk assessment and health & safety behaviour and culture
Fire safety, safe use of electricity, manual handling, safety signs, lone working and contractor management
Accident management, asbestos management, stress & noise at work, employment legislation and health and safety law, alcohol and drugs in work, stress and noise at work, workplace and work equipment, DSE and working at height
The course concludes with a multiple choice assessment paper.
Course costs include a training manual, handouts, assessment and certificate for successful candidates.
This three day course and will be delivered via webinar using Zoom video communications in real-time with a qualified health and safety consultant.

The course is scheduled to run over the 25, 26 and 27 November 2020 and is available at the inclusive price of £350+VAT per delegate or £300+VAT for QLM retained clients and CIMSPA members.
