Leigh is Managing Director of Quality Leisure Management Ltd (QLM), a consultancy specialising in providing health and safety and continual improvement support to sport, leisure, culture and hospitality operators, trusts and organisations across the UK. Part of the PHSC plc group, QLM have been responsible for a number of significant industry guidance documents.
Leigh has a broad range of expertise and experience, including a management degree, NEBOSH and environmental health qualifications as well as accreditation to IOSH, IIRSM and CIMSPA professional bodies. Leigh is a Chartered Safety and Health Professional, Registered Occupational Safety and Health Consultant listed on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register and member of IIRSM and CIMSPA professional bodies.
Notably Leigh has worked with the HSE Policy Unit, developing guidance available to download nationally as best practice and is an active member of IOSH, chairing the IPD peer review interview process, part of the assessment for Chartered Membership, as well as having authored for Croner loose-leaf publication.
Leigh has been retained by solicitors, enforcing authorities, insurance companies and other bodies as an expert witness in both civil and criminal litigation and fatal accident enquiries and investigation.
